Santiago
Endlich geht die Reise los, nach guten 40 min landeten wir in Chile, voller Vorfreude und Erwartungen in ein neues Abenteuer.
Einreisestempel, kurzes Fotoshooting und vamos!
So nun erst mal ab ins Hostel und dann noch etwas die Gegend erkunden, dachten wir..
Nach einer kurzen Busfahrt waren wir fast am Ziel, welches Plaza de Ambas in Santiago war. Am final Busstop wurde uns jedoch relativ schnell klar, ist nix mit Gegend erkunden.. dies war nämlich keine sichere Gegend. Kaum eine Menschenseele in den Straßen, kaum Autos unterwegs und grade mal 21:30 Ortszeit. Ok schnell beschlossen hüpfen wir ins nächste Taxi und erreichen nach nicht mal 4 Min. unser Ziel Hostal Plaza de Ambas.
-kurze Anmerkung zur Unterkunft-
An alle Freunde des Minimalismus, super Deal! Unser 'Privat Room' (25,00€ inkl.Scheibe Brot mit Marmelade und Tee zum Frühstück) war sauber, jedoch sehr nüchtern eingerichtet. Tatsächlich nicht mehr als zwei Einzelbetten und einem kleinen Mülleimer. Das Bad am anderen Ende des Hostals, und um dort hinzukommen musste man zwei mal über eine Art Terrasse gehen, scheisse kalt wenn man nachts ne schwache Blase hat, 🙄 aber gut wir hatten eine tolle Aussicht von dieser Terrasse !
Leider war das Personal absolut nicht hilfreich, jegliche Fragen wurden mit verstörten Blick ausgesessen oder mit No sé beantwortet. Ich habe zum Glück im Vorfeld etwas recherchiert und die Reise Route inkl Bus, Metro und Lage in etwa ausgemacht. Tut man das im Vorfeld nicht ist man mit diesem Personal und unfreundlichem auftreten jedoch leiderer aufgeschmissen. Schade ! Keine guter Eindruck von dieser Unterkunft:(
Nach zwei unspektakulären Tagen und etwas shopping beschlossen wir die Reise in Richtung San Pedro de Atacama fortzusetzen ✨

finally, the journey starts, after smooth 40 min. flight we arrived in Chile, full of anticipation and expectations in a new adventure.

so now heading to the Hostal and explore the area, we thought .. after a short bus ride we were almost at the aim of our destination which was 'Plaza de Ambas' in Santiago.
At the final busstop we relatively quickly realized that we not going to explore nothing .. this was namely not a safe area. :(
Hardly a human soul in the streets, hardly cars on the road and just 21:30 local time. OK quickly decided, we bounced into the next taxi and reach after not even 4 min. our hostal Plaza de ambas.
-short note to the accommodation -
to all friends of the minimalism super deal! Chile is kind of expensive so our 'private room' (€ 25.00 inkl. a slice of bread with jam and tea for breakfast) was clean, but very sparse, in fact, no more than twin beds and a small bin. The bathroom at the other end of the hostels and to get there you had to walk twice over about a kind of Terrace, shity cold if you need the bathroom at night like I do,🙄 but well we had a great view because of this Terrace!
Unfortunately, the staff was absolutely not helpful, any questions got ignored, like literally no word nothing or with no sé answered. I've Luckily invested like 100000 hours of research in advance and kind of knew the journey route incl bus, Metro map but well I'm not a prof!! However, we couldn't get one local tip for like "where to eat, or to shop or even if there is a bank around " every question got answered with, yeah this I don't know:( after two unspectacular days and some shopping, we decided to continue the route in the direction of San Pedro de Atacama ✨ aid in the desert 🌵 ..mensch what was I excited😄
